In light of the spreading viruses plaguing Facebook, there is another suspected suspected malware programs brought on by ads popping out in the social game Farm Town. Many players are said to have encountered the malware while playing online.

    The game’s developer, Slashkey, advices users that though the malware may seem harmless sitting there in your computer, you must NOT follow the links pointing to any software claiming to clean up your system.

    Malware today seem to be carried by online advertisements even those found in Yahoo!, Google and Fox. If you think that an ad is suspicious and link to dodgy software, please be advised and move away from the link pronto.
