slacker mommy files

well guess what? i’m going to have a baby girl! yay! i’m just so happy! can’t wait to be a mommy! ^_^

but actually i’m a little scared. i was diagnosed with marginal placenta previa. it means that my placenta is located near the opening of my cervix instead of the fundus(top of the uterus) where it should be. also due to this, my baby is in a transverse position. she is lying horizontally in my tummy.

my ob-gyn said that this should correct itself eventually. but if it doesn’t, it could prove a bit risky for me and my daughter. such risk that i may lose my daughter or my ability to have children again. i’ve been crying a bit about it. just when i thought everything was going great…

i guess all i can doi is hope for the best and be extra careful about my and my baby’s condition. just help me pray that we get through this fine.
