On Growing Up and Getting Old

It was my birthday yesterday. It was a good day. I got to spend it with my husband, watching Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, then we went to the grocery to buy our monthly supplies. We got home, and I was greeted with my beautiful daughters. It was awesome.

To add to that, I got a tone of well wished from my family and friends on Facebook. I felt my eyes tearing up. I am not perfect. Far from it. But I do try to be a good person. But even that I screw up, most of the time. The thing is, I am still loved despite of that. For that, I am utterly grateful. I am also thankful for each and every soul that has touched my life no matter how briefly. They all had a hand in making me what I am today. Thanks to all of you, family, friends, acquaintances, even nameless, faceless strangers. Thanks.
