Lice, Lice, It’s All Lice!!

I got a told off by my mother-in-law today. She told me that I had been lax regarding my daughter’s welfare. Bewildered, I asked why. She said that Lyka had an infestation of head lice and how was it that I did not know that. Well, for one, Lyka has been in her care for the greater part of the last month, something that despite her verbal complaints, she rather insists on doing; and second, Lyka barely gets out of the house to interact with other children that might have been infested. But if course, I’m just the mother so what I say is negligible, or at least that’s how I see it when I get under my mother-in-law’s sights.

So now I had a problem on my hands: what do I do to get rid of my daughter’s head lice? Of course, I asked her pediatrician what would be the best cure. She recommended Kwell (Reformulated) Shampoo. So, like a good mom, I went and tried to buy a bottle. Unfortunately, the cash I brought was short and I decided to resort to an alternative - Oilganics. Oilganics is a herbal anti-lice shampoo whereas Kwell is a topical insecticide. But whereas Kwell only applied once, or at most twice with a week between applications, Oilganics is a two-week treatment. So as I was just looking for a temporary remedy while I still haven’t bought Kwell, I settled with Oilganics. It seemed to work when I tried it but to be still sure, I also did the traditional lice remedy in our family — coconut oil and a fine-toothed comb known as a “suyod”.

I drenched Lyka’s hair in virgin coconut oil and combed her hair with the suyod. Looking closely at the suyod, I neither saw any lice nor eggs. But then again, i wasn’t able to comb all of Lyka’s hair given her refusal to sit still for a prolonged period of time. So inevitably, I missed some more lice, which got me some more dose of my mother-in-law’s critiques. Ah well, it comes with the territory, I guess. So in the end, I made sure to buy Kwell to get rid of Lyka’s lice once and for all. It did the job well. Now Lyka is lice-free. I just have to make sure Leejay and I didn’t get infested with lice though. X(

OILGANICS is the only HERBAL treatment shampoo available in the market today … it can also be used every day as preventive shampoo … kkafeature lang nila sa KABUHAYANG SWAK NA SWAK

actually, for what i know, and based on experience, hirap talaga pag gagamit insecticide sa hair kasi children tend to scratch their head pag may kuto, and tendencies of getting wound is high, kaya delikado din sabi ng mga doctor kung incenticide ang gagamitin.

with Oilganics shampoo (meron din silang leave-on conditioner sa mercury, para sa mas matagal na exposure ng treatment), herbal siya na safe and mabango din, apple scented siya. can be used regularly para to prevent reinfestation
